REDUCED FROM £85 TO £45 THROUGH JANUARY

This print was inspired by Mugwort plant connection and harvesting on Hackney Marshes, for Artist Residency at Hole&Corner Magazine HQ.

During this week-long residency I extracted two pigments from Mugwort - a gold and an emerald witch green.
This print is a mixture of both, in a beautiful olive green.

I drew illustrations of Mugwort leaves and cut them into wooden blocks.

This print is unique and one of a small collection printed during this artist residency at Hole&Corner Magazine.

Dimensions: 33 x 44 CM

Mugwort ink on recycled handmade cotton rag paper

The ink was made by my hands during this residency, with the Mugwort plant pigments extracted from the palnts in water and blended with a plant starch binder calle gum tragacanth.
This art piece is 100% biodegradable and non-toxic.

The order is for the paper print only, and does not include the wooden hanger.

Cotton rag paper is made in India from offcuts from the cotton tectile industry, recycled into fibre and formed into sheets of paper by hand.

This piece will be wrapped in recycled brown tissue paper or a cornstarch sleeve and mailed in a recycled carboard tube with biodegradable cardboard ends rather than plastic.
